SENIOR AUDIT MANAGER (VP LEVEL)
DUBLIN, IRELAND

An International Bank's dynamic Internal Audit department seeks a highly experienced Senior Audit Manager at the VP level, with outstanding banking/ financial service expertise, for its European region, based in Dublin. You will play a key role in the formulation and implementation of the strategic and annual audit plans, as well as delivering a detailed understanding of business risk and assist management in building the Bank's model of risk and control.

30% travel will be involved to Europe and the Channel islands.

With a minimum of 7 years solid experience within the internal audit function of a bank, or financial service company, or major CA firm, you will have an excellent understanding of a broad range of banking products. You will also possess exceptional management and communication skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Planning and managing audit reviews and audit staff.
• Monitoring trends and developments in assigned areas.
• Performing projects to provide operational benefits to the bank.
• Ad-hoc investigative work.
• Provide audit opinions to bank management on risks and controls.
• Participate in the development of audit plans, objectives, work papers, program standards and guidelines and risk analysis.
• Actively participate with senior management on special assignments.
